Order of St Ignatius awards $3000 grant with the launching of the Orthodox Fellowship of All Saints of China

The Order of St Ignatius of Antioch, at its governing council meeting in October, approved a $3,000 grant renewal contingent upon the legal registration of the new pan-Orthodox organization under the name of the Orthodox Fellowship of All Saints of China, as defined under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Steered by a pan-Orthodox board of directors (trustees) and advisory board, the Fellowship will serve as an umbrella organization in raising global pan-Orthodox awareness and the necessary funding to sustain existing Chinese Orthodox translation and missionary projects initiated by various jurisdictions. The Fellowship will also look into funding new initiatives such as an online seminary for distance theological education to assist indigenous growth of Orthodoxy in the Chinese world.
